Yeah i was wandering what kinda injuries you guys get at shows when you mosh...If you do. Also anyone dance.

MY recent injuries at the tony danza show
Busted lip
bloody nose
twisted ankle
and my finger is screwed

I pretty much just mosh so hard that I never get hurt, but everyone else does.

The most serious is I've gotten an elbow in the face, and I think i got an eye infection from a show.

And my canvas shoes got all busted up at a show, the back part completely ripped off.

Only band I moshed to was Halifax, so in that case I have never recieved any injuries.

I've never really been hurt, but I pretty much stay away from the pit at hardcore shows. I've moshed at some other shows, but nothing's happened to me beside a few bruises.

I did get smashed over the head at the last hardcore show I was at, even though I was a good distance from where the dancing was taking place. Some guy just decided to go around hitting people, and he ended up hitting me over the head knocking me down two stairs. No big deal, but not fun.

Almost got hit by some macho man doing windmills with a wooden chair in hand. It was my first show, I got scared shitless. That's my only near-injury experience at a show.

the worse "injury" I got was a kick to the face at Warped Tour '04. Either that, or when my friend jabbed his thumb into my eye, pushing my contact back behiond my eye and had to go to the eye doctor to get it removed. That was back on the 22nd on last month, at a local show.

It wasn't so bad really. I actually thought he just knocked it out of my eye, so I kept on moshing and having a good time. Later that night I realized it hurt if I looked to the right, but I just thought he scratched it or something.

Over the next few days my eye kept hurting and got a slight infection, so I was cheking out my eye in the mirror and pulled up my eyelid to see what could be damaged. I saw a small edge of the contact sticking out from behing my eye, and immediately clled up my doctor. He just took some weird looking coated tweezers and yanked it out, and that was that.

It brings the energy moving and some find it fun. I don't go in pits but I totally support them.

Someone spilled beer all over the floor during a Killswitch show and all the moshers were slipping all over the place, I got a scraped knee from it. The only time I remember actually getting hurt was when I got my eyebrow pierced two days before I got elbowed in the eye, ouch.

At a local show I got punched in the face three times, but I not sure who all punched me, it was really fast, and me and my friend got knocked over all of a sudden by some big guy he punched me in the neck though it hurt bad, but I got up and the people that we had fallen on top of got intom the pit too it was pretty fun.

Why do moshers and dancers get so pissed off each at shows? Jesus, just let the dancers have their breakdowns, and the moshers have space during the fast parts of songs. Everything would work out if people would stoip being morons.

ive been trampled a few times, jumped on, busted lip twice, hit in the face quite often, kicked, punched, and thrown(crazy stuff)
and at the last concert i was at (project 86) i got hit the the back of the head by the lead singer's forehead while he was headbanging(that REALLY hurt)

and dancing? i at ska shows i skank! but hardcore dancing? heck no, i hate that crap

I almost got my right hand middle-finger torn of tonight in a pit, and I need that nail for classical guitar. :(

It hurts whenever something touches my finger, so i can barely even play with a pick, because my nails sometimes hit the strings when I strum.

ive got almost a scar for every show ive been too. For some reason i just get hurt alot, but its all good when twenty people grab you and pick you up again. Mostly its just scrapes and bruises, but the worst injury ive ever gotten was at warped 05. It was raining during the Dropkick Murphys set, and i fell and slid backwards about 5 feet on wet concrete. My elbows got taken almost to the bone, but the worst was my back, since it was curved when i hit all the bony lumps from my spinal cord were stickin out and ive got three big scars on my back now from them gettin skinned down.

Too bad it was at Warped....I'd rather brag that I saw a semi-decent band playing there. Someone dropped their pack of cigs on the ground and were stepped on countless times and some little kid next to me picked them all up and put them in his pocket. Bastard kids these days I tell ya, they're all sniffing glue.

Yeah,(VERY FIRST SHOW) There was this big black body guard guy that was like 8 feet tall and his arms were butsing out of his shirt...It was scary. He was beating the snot outta people and me and homes jumped into the pit and we a got cracked ribs, busted lips, or black eyes...great stuff,back in the day

I guess Warped isn't that bad unless you're expecting over 75% of the bands to be good, it's just that Warped's turned from a huge punk/hardcore show to mainly pop-punk with few exceptions. Not to mention Thrice skipped my city this year.

I sprained my knee during colin of arabia last night they were the second band in and then i moshed on it the rest of the night. Big mistake i got home and the thing was more swollen than the last time i sprained my knee.

I like pop-punk too, but when I see 25+ pop-punk bands in a row, I tend to get sick of it. We didn't get any of the above bands either (besides A7X, ick), the only hardcore/emo bands we got were Hopesfall. It sucked.

Sat nite @ Nightmare fest. i was near the pits , just standing there with my arms crossed (thats how i do it anyways, even when someone gets pushed into me, i just stand there with arms crossed) some dude was goin nuts, and was kicking, and like i saw his foot come at me all slow motion, and it hit my arm, and just bounced off, im glad im pretty tall, could of kicked my neck or face or something =/ Other then that... random brusises from not blocking cause im to cool for that. :rolleyes:

I don't really remember how it happened, but I was at a Walls Of Jericho show, and i got punched in the nose. I bled out of both nostrils and my eyes turned bloodshot. I guess as i walked to the bathroom i was stumbling around a lot and people thought i had a concussion. That wasn't too much fun. I love walls of jericho, and i missed a good part of their set because i was cleaning up blood. Oh well.

My friend saw hopesfall. He said some guy threw an open bottle of water. And it got all over one of there amps and totally screwed the amp up. One of the hopesfall guys was pissed and almost got into a fight with the dude who threw it.

A good friend of mine broke his arm once during a pit. Not sure how it happened, he keeps telling me some fat kid landed on him when he fell.

Another friend of mine [actually a girl] got a bloody nose from a pit. Wasn't broken or anything though.

I was concussed during a band's set.
The crowd was tight so I couldn't move and at the end of this band's set, the bass player with the flamboyant dancing decided it would be a good idea to flip into the crowd, with bass still intow.
I saw him coming, but I couldn't move because of the crowd and all I could do was bow my head. Lights out.
Now, it wouldn't have been so bad if he had just merely jumped backwards into the crowd, but flipping? C'mon, does he not know physics?

- Extremely bad rug burn I got in a circle pit last January. It looked pretty nasty and the burn mark is permanant I'm sure since it's not fading away to this day.
- I got my lip cut open from someone that banged against my mouth which caused my head to knock someone out actually behind me (I actually think it was my friend).

Other than not nothing major, really. Just big a'ss purple and green bruises, got hit in the eye, and got hit a million times.

Many bruises, the odd cut from some prîck with spiked stuff on, friction burns from leather jackets, that kinda think. Many broken toes.

I'm usually pretty careless what other people do at shows, I just get involved in the pit and have a good time, then try not to be a dick and just run into people. What annoys me is when you get some fat bastard trying to control the pit. If he just went with the flow, it'd be a lot more comfortable for everyone. Oh, and when some ska or such like is on and you get a hoarde of kid retards trying to mosh through the middle a load of skankers (including me). That's when they get hurt :p

i usually go in the circle pits when i go to shows. going into the hardcore kung fu pits and getting socked in the face isnt my idea of having fun.
