Could someone please reccomend some easy(ish) metal riffs that would impress someone who listens to metal?

Please and thank you.

Ok if you want to impress someone with a good sounding metal riff you need to just stop playing now, you should play for the love of music not to just impress someone, but aside from that i can help you out.
Some Good Ones:
Black Sabbath - Iron Man - Everyone knows this
Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water - Another Easy One
Ozzy - Crazy Train - People love it and it is easy
Avenged Sevenfold - Chapter Four - If you have the music to play along with it can sound pretty good
Anything from AC/DC will work
thats all i can think of

Slayer - Bloodline. It's a catchy song, and best of all, it's extremely simple.
