I have to say it's one of the funniest shows ever. I think it's even funnier then the Daily Show. Especially tonights episode. :lol: :lol:

Just watched it, was pretty funny. I've seen the last 3 episodes too. It's getting off to a good start; I still like The Daily Show more, just because it's been a weeknight fix for so long, but Colbert is absolutely hilarious.

Hmm watch supposedly hilarious show or get more than 4 hours of sleep. I'll watch it tomorrow at 1:30am assuming I remember.

It's good but Colbert just doesn't have the personality for a host, to me. Maybe that's just because I'm not use to it. Also, the new guys on the Daily Show aren't as good, so that hurts it a bit, but it's still better.

I'm going to have to check out Russ Lieber some time, he was hilarious.

Yeah, it wasn't that good. It was like The Daily Show Lite. And him leaving The Daily Show makes that show worse, so its just a losing situation all around, I think.

Wasn't that David Cross? He sounded exactly like him, and the picture they showed of Russ Lieber also looked like Cross with a wig.

Anyway, yeah, The Colbert Report is pretty funny, but I still prefer The Daily Show.

I actually think they got a couple of people. And give the guy some time; he's a little awkward right now, it's his first time doing a whole show by himself. Pretty soon he'll have it down pat :thumb:

It's not as News oriented as the Daily Show, but I like it a little better than the Daily Show.

"Let the Gravitas Begin" in the first episode was great.

Oh, I don't know. I haven't seen Cross enough to really recognize him quickly, especially in disguise.

I think this show is hilarious, even if it does come on the same time as Family Guy...talk about conflicted.
And I noticed that it was David Cross as Russ Lieber as well, I thought it was hilarious, a good gimmick.

Colbert: "So, how did you handle managing time with your kids and not being president?"
Lady: "Well, I'm sure it would've been tough........Wait, NOT being president?"
Colbert: *nods*
Lady: "Um, it wasn't too hard"

jon stewart is a different kind of funny than stephen colbert, i find. jon is more of a joke teller, as opposed to stephen being more of a, for lack of a better term, stupid reporter.

I never really liked the daily show except for the colbert parts. cordry is good too, but i got with colbert on this

That was actually on the Daily Show, and it was one of the new correspondents who did that interview. But yeah, that was funny.

Question: Wasn't that the new correspondent, Jason Jones, doing that? I'm quite sure it was. The "Could it Happen Here" correspondent report on The Daily Show, just a night or two ago.

I was quite happy with it; he's the only new correspondent i like.

On the 20th Oct episode. Where he shows all the foreign newspapers, he shows the British one and notices a langauge miskake: and says. :"I know you(british) created our langauge, but this is a classic case, where the student, becomes the master." I laughed out loud.

Yeah. I like the Daily Show and all, but he seems like he's in a slump right now or something. Maybe it's just hard to live up to the material that he got thrown at him during the election.

The Colbert Report is starting out pretty funny, which I think is a good sign. I don't see why it would get worse, in the long term at least, so it's all good. Now if only they'd cancel that Corolla moron. . .

Daily Show is still hilarious, the new correspondents are fine, The Colbert Report is hilarious too.
