That's retarded. Anyway I don't even use eBay. On amazon you just list it for 5 cents cheaper then the cheapest copy, and you sell quite quickly. Nothing wrong with that!

Wow, this game is awesome! Graphics are a little disappointing after just playing F.E.A.R., but they're not bad. I started as a Marine and just beat the first level. It was pretty long, which is good because there's only 7 levels for each species I think. Anyway, I believe I was fired upon by a Predator but I only fought Aliens. Those mother****ers are quick as hell!! When you first get the plasma rifle it says to try to conserve ammo because it's scarce.. **** that I was spraying all over the place. :lol:

There was this one part where two other squad members were exploring and all of a sudden you hear "oh my god.. I hope that's just a boot. Please tell me that's just a boot." then like 10 seconds later you hear the guy say "oh, it's just a boot!" and his voice made it so hilarious.. this game is definitely worth buying. :cool:

Nope, I just played as a Marine so far. I'll probably play the Predator's first level next though or something.. or maybe I'll just finish each species at once. I'm looking forward to being a Predator the most though. :cool:

Point taken... I never ask my parents for money though, I manage to save up enough in random ways or get stuff for my birthday or Christmas. But I'm seriously considering getting a job over the winter, maybe at EB Games :cool:

The Alien and Marine modes are pretty different, but they're both fun. The first Alien level is really tough, so if you want something challenging you might want to try that out. I actually think the marine is the least interesting.

Yeah. I think I am going to switch, then. I don't think there is a way to play all three. Without losing your progress in another, I mean. That would be cool if you could. When I first got the game I tried Alien mode very briefly. Lot's of crawling around on the ground to start with. And I noticed I had to be stealthy. I like stealthy.

I just finished Far Cry for the second time, HL 1, am just past the middle of Painkiller, and am near the beginning of Doom3 and The Chronicles of Riddick. So the Marine level holds even less interest for me now. It is fun, though. I'm gonna give Alien mode a try. If I like it, Predator after that. That sounds like it can be an interesting twist on a FPS.

I think you would like it. I'm doing Alien mode now and it's great. The game gets all the sounds and movements right. And the controls are excellent. Gameplay is good. Even playing as the Marine is good. Kind of reminds me of Doom3 because you are in the dark most of the time. Only you have a head lamp, so that helps. And flares. It's still very dark, though. And the Aliens come out of everywhere and are very fast. Three or four different kinds, I think. Just like the movies. Acid for blood. It's good fun.

Even though the Marines are the most basic/typical FPS, I kinda like being them because you feel like you're in the movies and all your squad members are getting massacred py scared out of you by mysterious aliens.


And John Doe you dumbass.. of course you can play as different species at the same time. Just use different save files. I have files for all three species.

Alright Mr."Boom Head Shot", how do I do that? Ive started a game as Marine and switched to Alein, and all my Marine progress was lost. Is it something I do within the game, or do I do it manually in the game files? I'm not sure as I haven't spent much time with the game. Ok so you start a game as marine.. save..save a couple times.. whatever. Then when you want to play as Alien and Predator, just create new save files, don't overwrite the Marine save files. Of course I do. I just didn't know I could do it in this game from all three stages, Alien, Predator, and Marine. I thought you had to finish one before moving to the next. I never really bothered playing very much. And the first time I probably did overwrite my save from another stage, so I just figured 'Whatever. I guess you have to play one at a time.' :confused:

I think I will enjoy it much more now. I played a bit of Marine and I think I was playing it wrong the first time around. Marine is played best not knowing what's coming, and just running around emptying your weapon. I was playing it too slow before. The Aliens are fast. I figure it's best to match them. Game is a lot of fun. And I like the wall crawling in Alien mode.

FPS, its one of the scariest game ever made.

actually marine is not boring but far from it, the game actually got soo popular because of the marine. out of flares, no bullets , and the sensor starts to beep, tell me how scary is that. i remember the first level they refuse to show you the alien or the predator but just hints that they are there which was done superbly and also the first time you fight an alien iand got chased down a vent which scared the hell out of me.

its also one of the rare games that uses the shock "in your face" technique very well, far better then what doom3 did. it has its draw backs though, its very short and well you need some time getting used to playing other races then the marine. the storyline is superb with each race effecting each other in the whole story.

very good game i had lots of fun playing it one of the best FPS titles i have. IMO one under-rated game
