I don't know...there might already be a thread on this but here goes nothing. Everyone, post the last song(s) you learned on the guitar. I wanna see what types of bands and music people play on the guitar. Mine are:

Iron Maiden - "The Prisoner"
AC/DC - "Big Balls" (extremely easy)
Iron Maiden - "Wrathchild"

Well...there you go. Happy posting! :)

I like that song. I just recently got into that band, though.

Depends on how hard the solo is.

Crushing Day took me about a week (this week) to get down pat, but that also included getting it up to 144bpm. Still have to get it up to tempo, but the sweep picking part that goes into the slide is a bitch to get clean playing fast.

But it also depends on how much time I put into learning it. Sometimes it takes me a few hours, sometimes a few weeks.

Good question...hahah I suppose it's Subterranean Homesick Blues by Bob Dylan. Consisting of the chords A, D and E, you might be wondering if I have any guitar skills...but I've decided I'm focusing more on my songwriting skills than my guitar playing skills, because being a great guitarist means dick all if you can't write a good song. And Bob Dylan is the best songwriter, yet quite possiblty the simplest guitar player...and that's the road I'm taking these days.
