i have seen cymbals stands, and snare stands, and all that good stuff called hardware. but i have also seen lugs called hardware. :confused: i have never really noticed this until i was having a conversation with someone and i said that my friends kit has black hardware, and he was like, **** thats awesome, black cymbal stands where did he get those. i was talking about the lugs. so which is really the hardware??

It's all hardware.
Like..everything that isn't the shell or head of a drum.

Ehh I call it all hardware, if it's supporting the drum in someway then I consider it hardware.

stands, bolts, screws, lugs, pedals, yadda yadda etc. etc.

yea hardware is hardware.
if i wanna be more specific, ill call the hardware ON the drum "drum hardware".

it's all hardware like everyone else has said, however i have seen black stands in pictures in magazines.
they were pictured with custom sets, so i doubt you can get them from a standard company.

hi, where did ur m8 get the black cymbal stands from, iv been looking for some for ages but cant find any??:confused:

Cymbal stands, snare stand, floor tom legs, bass drum legs, boom stands, snare stands, throne stand, hi-hat stand, cymbal arm, tom holders etc all hardware.
EDIT: oh yeah and pedals

any shop in your town that does powdercoating can sanblast and coat your stands any color you'd want.
