Hey quick question.

Could any body tell me a good way to hold the pick lol im a decent player but i cant upstroke for the life of me and it kinda sucks...the pick usually gets stuck on the string on the upstroke. So if anybody can help that'd be great, thanks.

U holding it between your finger and thumb at the tip or against the side of your index finger. Maybe switching from what ever your using to the other might solve your problems.

u so changed pick into the d word for ur quote lol

i think your holding ur pick too far up so what happens is that when u pick too much of the pick is in between the strings

what u need to do is hold it normally like u do and when ur upstrong slant the pick so it picks the string but smoothly slides past the string as well

if not try using different picks (it often occurs if u use heavy picks like bass ones) I use Heavy picks and don't have problems

Read this somewhere...

Let your hand relax and then hold your arm at a downward slope (45 degrees) to the floor. Watch where your index finger and thumb come together, then put the pick there.
(It's not nearly as complicated as I made it sound... But you get the idea).
