I'm talking about songs like 'Shadows and Dust' - Kataklysm (Gladiator clip) and 'Pariah' - E. Town Concrete (Independance Day clip). It doesn't necessarily have to be a movie sound clip, but I'm just looking for other songs that have intros that don't go straight into the song.

I am pretty sure the one at the end of Orgiastic Disembowlment is a clip from Army Of Darkness.

Children of Bodom - Warheart has a clip from Amadeus, which is an awesome movie.

/can't think of any others off the top of my head

Brujeria-Brujerizmo, Raza Odiada(Pito Wilson), La Migra(Cruza la Frontera II), many of their song have like speeches(make by them) but they had nothing to do with the actual song.

All of them annoying and freaky.

The Unforgiven had this horn in the intro, James said that that horn is a backward sound of another song.

Any Mortician song. Of course the classic Bill Hicks speech at the beginning of Tool's Third Eye,and then Timothy Leary for the live version. Skinless has some really cool samples that start almost every song on their newest album. There is tons out there and I really love the idea. They always seem pretty cool to me. American Head Charge always uses really cool samples as well.

Queens of the Stone Age- Quick and to the Pointless.

Someone who sounds like Jack Black of Tenacious D says "I don't even know what I'm doing here..."

Darkest of the Hillside Thickets- My Tank

"What was the CIA agent doing in the reservoir?"
"Bobbing up and down of course. He was dead."

I don't know where it's from, but the guys in the clip have British accents.

I always think of them all just as one book, since I never read them as separate editions.

I just thought of one, though I don't know how true it is - Acid Bath's Cassie Eats Cockroaches supposedly begins with a recording of John Wayne Gacy being led to his execution.

That's from Dogma, a Kevin Smith movie. Amazed that you picked out the actor though.

Well it couldn't have been from the movie, because it was probably out way before then. The radio show?

There's no way that someone could make a typo that results in "psycho" becoming "physco." Far too many jumbles for anyone to fail to notice what a horrendous mistake that was, unless they did it on purpose.

The one before Crown of Horns is from The Exorcist part III, I think.

I haven't seen any of the Exorcist movies, yet when I heard that sample it reminded me of them. Odd.

By the way... why hasn't anyone pointed out that the proper term is 'sample'? If someone already has, oops sorry.

I don't think it's actually sampled from the movie (The Matrix), but in the beginning of And Then It Passes by Cryptopsy there's a train starting up, then "do you hear that?" then the band has a little spasm then it goes "that is the sound of inevitability".
