first drop D the E string. then tune everything as if you were tuning normaly(using the fifth fret or harmonic method...). once you've done that, you're tuning would be DGCFAD. From there, drop D the low D string to C. Then you'll have CGCFAD.

whoa so you tune standard? im confused i dropped the d but then you said to tune normal as in bgdae?

Tune every string down a step, except the D string (formally the E string) which gets tuned down 1 step to a C

What is CACFAD??

That sounds pretty goofy to me.:confused: I assume it was a typo or a misinterpreted (sp??) tuning.

He means drop C

C G C F A D

Even if he does not mean that, just tune the G up a step, pretty simple.
