I've never really gotten into his stuff. Never really interested me.

Under the Table and Dreaming was a good album. Then he got full of himself and put out unlistenable dribble for each subsequent album.

I don't mind listening to almost any song up to Before These Crowded Streets. Anything past that, I pretty much abhor and won't listen to. Even then, I don't like them nearly as much as I did back in high school.

They're okay. I got hooked to that one song when they were all over MTV.

The Dave Matthews guitar's stylle is very strange.

Some of the goods point of the band is the style to play guitar of Dave Matthews; is something strange sometimes easy and sometimes very dificult to play-

I think they're okay, but I think Dave's solo album is really good.

They seem like E-Street stunt doubles.

it's like someone took a really good jazz band and put them in a blander. no, that's not a typo for "blender"

There are a few songs of theirs I like, but I think they are generally overrated.

I will admit to loving Before These Crowded Streets, but their other stuff is pretty stale.

How about "bad," huh!? Can you just say "baaaaaaaaad" instead?! It's really not that difficult. Same amount of letters, and you won't offend anyone except people who like DMB, which is fine.

Immunity from being a dick? Sweet! How'd you swing that?

EDIT: Sorry, that wasn't called for, but I left it up cuz it was kinda funny anyway.

The only DMB-related thing I enjoy is Live at Luther College which is just Dave Matthews and this Tim Reynolds guy who is a master at acoustic guitar wankery

I think they/he is very good. The later albums have been over produced and lost the roots they got their following for, but they are definately a live band. Daves a great guitarist and song writer hands down.

It strikes me as ironic that the thread starter has a dmb avatar but barely likes them.
