I voted HL1. I just finished it. It stands up to and exceeds most FPS's in terms of gameplay, period. A nearly perfect shooter.

From what I've seen of HL2, it's definitely a good game. However, compared to a groundbreaking game such as HL1, it's just doesn't seem to be as innovating.

Graphics is one of the last things I care about in a game.

wtf? round 2 soo fast? there are plenty of good fps out there...........the system shock series for example.

bah, considering everyone is sooo obsessed with the half life series. i doubt any others would get the best fps title.

Half-Life was mind blowing when it came out.

Half-Life 2 you just think, oh yeah, this is pretty sweet. It's too predictable.

The Half Life graphics are just so crap, i would have to go with it still though considering the gameplay.

Now why would you bring graphics into the picture...when half life came out it was top of the line graphics just like when hl2 came out.

That's harsh TS. I've heard great, great things about HL2, but haven't played it; also, HL was the original, plus it spawned CS and TFC. My vote: HL1 :thumb:

EDIT: As usual, I cast the tying vote (18-18) :lol:
