Only played the demo of RE2 and seen the first film which I personally think was a let down.
i thought the movies were good especially the 2nd one, gotta love the nemesis. :)

Though I enjoyed the second movie....I hated what they did to Nemesis. In the game....he was this great ferocious killer that killed just about anything that crossed his path that was getting in the way of killing Jill. In the movie....he barely even took any notice to Jill at all.....and at the end he started helping the people because he felt insulted.

There was so so so much potential from the games, then it didn't deliver in movie form

Yes, we needed one of these.
RE4 = one of the most amazing games I've ever played.
RE2 = my favorite game of all time. I'm still stuck in the lab though. I'll complete it one day. But Zelda is my number 1 priority right now.
RE movies = complete crap. They need to stick more to the games, then go on and on and on about Umbrella.
I've only ever played RE4. Thought about buying the others. Never have though.

When you were in an empty building, creeping around with a shotgun, and all of a sudden you hear broken glass and see Nemesis behind you, that kind of shock can only be rivaled by Silent Hill.

I put resident evils in this order from best to worst - Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil: Remake, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil: Directors Cut, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, and all the Resident Evil: Dead Aims, Survivor etc that I really didn't play.
And the movies were horrible.

Yeah the first RE game I played was CODE:Veronica and I finished it :thumb: , yay for me. After that I borrowed RE off a friend and I finished that. I can't wait until RE4 comes out on PS2, it comes out here like a day after my HSC finishes so thats hella-cool.

I was just looking that up and for North America, I heard October 25th, I'm not entirely sure on this though. Also, for the PS2 version their adding in a new weapon, 2 new boss fights, a new Ada scene and new areas with her. I got all that info off of the Resident Evil 4 Forum on Gamefaqs.com. I don't know if those are 100% correct, or if it's still rumours flying around.
EDIT: I read on and found out there's 2 new weapons, one which is supposively extremely cheap(not as in money) and Leon and Ashley both get another suit. Leon's is a gangster suit and Ashley's is a Knights Suit in which she can't be injured as easily and not picked up. Also, the graphs are suppost to be better than gamecubes, which I could care less how good the graphics were.

It's the same characters, just with more things added into it. If this one is better then the Gamecube one, I'm gonig to be jealous.

I don't know the story to it as I forgot, but there is a review of the gamecube version floating around here. I think the UK release is the same as the Australian which last time I heard was Nov 4th or 5th

I didn't know the PS2 version had new stuff. That should be interesting.
RE4 is the only RE game I've actually enjoyed. Anything else just pissed me off.
Back in the summer I was going to get Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 1 in a boxset for $30(canadian). My friends talked me out of it and now I'm mad I never got it. I made a thread about it a while back and everyone said I should have bought it. Now I will never be able to find those games as a boxset.

I loved RE2 (the game). It was really intense and had an awsome story, then it had the whole ply from the other pserons perspective which kicked even more ***.

Hm I think it comes out here in Australia on the 11th rather then the 4th as I said before. That might not be a bad idea of renting it for 7 days instead of paying $100AU for it. But there are alot of other things to do in the game so I'll probably just end up buying it outright.

Yea, I know that. It said right in the report that it will be for the next-gen consoles and will most likely be on X-Box 360 and PS3 and they said they aren't sure about releasing it on Nintendo Revolution though. But, I might be getting X-Box 360 next anyways.

2, Nemmy and CV are all the same as the original versions. 1 is the only one with updated graphics. Zero is pretty good if you don't already have it. Apart from those damn leechmen.

I love the game series. I have RE on the Gamecube, but it's too hard, as I'm sure many people would agree, the RE series on the Playstation were great though, not hard at all, I've completed 1, 2, Nemesis...that's it I think, I havn't really got into the more recent releases...oh well, I will one day though.

Man, Res Ev was the first game I bought for my Playstation, and I still love it. I think I've played all the incarnations over the years, and you just beat a good Zombie survival fest...

Not sure, but there's rumors that you play as Chris Redfield( :cool: ), and it's supposed to take place between RE 3 and RE:Code Veronica. And I'm pretty sure sure it's in Europe. I'd get a link but the school blocks IGN.
