So yeah , ive played budokai 3 and it was kinda fun, but this looks like its gonna kick all kinds of azz, and yeah i know the db series has been played out to hell and back, but come on, fighting super fast and throwing beams out your arse is fun as hell. Anyone else gonna get this when it comes out?

I played the first one, and it was ok, never played the ohther 2. The 3rd one looks pretty cool.

the third one was pretty fun, but it really leaves you hoping for 3-d action, and well...

... here it comes :p




and oh yeah, what sucked about the 3rd one was when you were gonna do a superattack, then could canclle it out to easy when you did the paper rock scissoresque thing with the buttons..... !!! they took that out of the new one THANK GOD.

"Although the Budokai games are essentially 3D fighters, the biggest draw in the series has always been the single-player story mode. In Tenkaichi, the dragon universe mode has been replaced by battle gate mode, which is essentially the story mode. There are 18 different battle gates, and each one contains different episodes, with 140 episodes in all. Before and after each battle, you'll see a fully animated and voiced in-game cutscene. Each character has a unique story, and with 15 characters in several different ki forms, there are plenty of story sequences to watch."



So yer. Also whats neat about this one is all the chars, theres some dbgt chars in it too, like super 17 , and i think ss4 goku and vegeta forms.

Yeah , it was f'ing horrible. The action was so slow, and it was nearly impossible to beat the pc in beam wars, even if you were ss4goku and you were fighting whoever.

No. Well to be honest I'm not sure if your talking about Final Bout 22 or not, but if you are, it sucked major ****.

Although I'm not much of a DB fan anymore, I'm looking forward to this game.

Welll i got this game today, dang its hard as hell, even on medium mode. Im stuck on this one story mode mission where i gotta do the finishing chozu move were i blow up on nappas back, its hard to charge up cause this fuk head kos me in two hits , the game over is pretty fun, though very simplistic. I need to play it with another person to see if its much more funner then budokai3 cause thats were the action is.

I think so, but thats just me, there was alot of stuff i didnt like in budokai 3, like the rock paper scissor thing that lead up to super attack. But theres no real like super attack in this one so to speak.

yes definately, in a diferent forum altogether, i seen a thread on it, the website was in japaneese but the graphics were awesome.

oooh, and if you guys are ever bored on the net, play this free DBZ game at www.fate5.com its a strategy game, make sure to read the rules before joining, and at the little annoying test, keep trying til uve got 100% trust me, its worth it
