Do you need a modded console to play those games? Or do you just have to burn it to a dvd disk or something? Anyone?

If you're talking about XBox, you need to upload a certain file to the hard drive on the XBox and then badda bing, you can burn games yourself.
Yeah I thought you needed a chipped Xbox to play DVD-R games?

I'm not talking about burning games though, I'm talking about the torrent sites on the internet that have xbox games available for dl. How do you play them on your xbox?
Well you need to burn it to a DVD-R disc first, and then do everything he said I think. I'm not sure, I still think your Xbox needs to be chipped

Yes, when I said burn, I meant burn to a DVD-R, then play.

What game was it anyway?
Well the one that caused me to ask was Indigo Prophecy because I couldn't find a pc version, but I just did. It looks interesting but not enough to spend $50 on.

Ok one more question.. it's downloading into a CD creator image file where it looks like I have to burn to a cd to play the game.. is there anyway to play it without burning a CD?

Hahah, use it to mount the iso you downloaded and it will act like you have a 2nd(or 3rd) dvd-drive with that cd in it.

My friend does it with ps2 games. You can burn it onto any blank dvd and then you need to get some mod chip and I think that's it

This all seems to complicated, but it is a very clever idea, not really my thing though, I steal enough music, why steal console games....
