Discuss the great book, TV series and the movie I havn't seen.
I loved the book except I didn't really like the ending (I was hoping for something... happier) and the TV series is excellent IMO (I saw a few random episodes but now I've started watching season 1 all the way through properly).
What's the movie like? I'm guessing it's completely separate to the TV show (I think it's from 1983) but is it any good?

I haven't seen the movie, but having Christopher Walken as a psychic should be worth seeing. I've only seen the latest season of the show, which I liked, and was completely unaware that it was Anthony Michael Hall playing the lead.

You wanted a HAPPY ENDING?
Dude, this is Steven King we're talking about!
But yeah; I've seen the film. And it is completely seperate to the TV show, and it also starred Martin Sheen and Jack Nicholas if I remeber rightly. I would have enjoyed it if it wasn't 2am. It was a very good film, and the ending, while not exactly "happy," was probably the best possible ending for a Steven King story.

Hmm.. C Walk is in the movie? I'll have to watch it. I've seen a few episodes of the dead zone because it's on after the 4400 (which I was also disappointed in this year) and it wasn't that interesting. Or maybe I should try watching it from the beginning.

Good book.
Who does Walken play in the show?
