Batman: Black & White Vol. 1
Neil Gaiman's Sandman
Deus Ex Machina

tr00f. Amazing read.
The Otherland series, if you're into sci-fi/fantasy type stuff.
Madness and Civilization, or The History of Sexuality, both by Michel Foucalt. Only read if you like philosophy.
The Stranger, by Albert Camus.
All The King's Men, by Robert Penn Warren.
Pop music sucks

Han Solo Trilogy by A.C. Crispin.
Paradise Snare
The Hutt Gambit
Rebel Dawn
If you want a conspiricist book, then "Who Killed John Lennon?" by Fenton Bresler.
Red Dragon by Thomas Harris is a great read. Silence of the Lambs is good, not as good as Red Dragon, and finally Hannibal is as good as Silence of the Lambs.
Strictly fantasy, go for some Piers Anthony, like his Castle Roogna, Source of Magic, and Chameleon. Centaur Aisle is alright.

It is hard to recommend books when you don't list any specific genres, but I've enjoyed 1421: The Year China Discovered The World and Tales Of The Otori Trilogy recently.

And to continue, dig up "only you can save mankind". I'd reccomend it for anyone that plays video games, and anyone looking for a good read in general.

the Rum Diary by Hunter S Thompson.
That's a good 'un, kinda overlooked in the Thompson canon, it seems like.
I'd say check out some Philip K. Dick. I read a couple of his books over the summer, The Transmigration of Timothy Archer and A Scanner Darkly. Good stuff, very versatile writer.

They're close to finishing A Scanner Darkly; even have a preview for it. Be warned though, it has Keanu Reeves, and a strange animation style.

So far its the only novel ive read by him, that's pure novel, not journalism inspired. Worthy read for anyone who even likes him remotely. I'm reading Hell's Angels by him now, its a journalistic book, not really a novel.
