A friend of mine played it. From what I saw, it looked pretty cool, and piloting an X-Wing just owns.

apparently its become really bad with it being practically impossible to get any of the good items, thats what I heard anyway, I would recomend you verify this

I played this game for a long time. From release until maybe 2 months ago. It was off and on since I got a few toons banned for publicly humiliating the developers on the forums as well as in the game.

I played on the Bria server. I wish anyone even remotely involved with the game's design and development a slow and painful death, and the hope that none of them ever work on any games ever again.

I played for a while, but I started late after the fuxed everything up, so it wasn't very much fun for me. All of my friends used to play, but when I started they all quit...so I had no idea what I was doing. All I wanted to be was a Wookie Bounty Hunter that Smuggled for the Freelance Pilots.

Well, yes. However, with every patch they fixed bugs, but created new ones.

Then they gave us Test Servers to test stuff before it was released to production servers. They ignored those who listed glaringly obvious bugs, and released the patch anyways.

Then the jedi debacle. Then the pvp debacle. Then after crashing the server with 200 vs 200 action, they came out and said the game was never designed to support large scale pvp....

Huh?

Ture the programmers did have a BIG BIG balls up called the combat upgrade. Basicly buggered up 6 of the professions. But they have been slowly changeing the professions to keep up with the combat upgrade. Its good fun. Alot to do in the game and the graphics are amazeing for a massive mulitplayer online game. And no you cant be anyone from the storyline. Thats the thing about it. Its supposed to be your own person within the starwars saga. But you do meet the characters but they are all npc's. If you liked the likes of WOW and other mmo's you'll like galaxies alot better since there is soo much content.
