I know there is a thread with Tekken in it but its combined with Soul Caliber but I wnated this one to be just about Tekken. Discuss favourite Tekken game, character, highest win on surviver and so on.

My favourite Tekken = 4
Fav character = Ohh tough choice, either Hworang or King
Highest Surviver = 32

Best Tekken-3, no contest

Best Characters-Hwoarang and that Leee guy, you know, the silver haired hitman with all the cool moves.

Tekken 1 is a classic, I remember playing it when I was about 6 not long after the PSX was released :)

Hmm, fave character - Yoshimitsu.

If it came to who i like for their moves and how good i am with them, i will own you all with King, Eddy, Hworang or Kunimitsu.

Ever notice how Yojimbo from FFX looks alot like Yoshimitsu from Tekken 2?

Which is why me and my friend like to call him Yoshijimbomitsu.

can't remember when the first one was released..

And Yoshimitsu is ace, but I always preferred the Law family and Lei Wulong...

I'm 17, the first Tekken was released in 1995 (in the UK)

Woa, you're right!, Tekken 2 was great when it came out, Tekken 3 and TTT are my faves, kinda went off them a bit now though.

Tekken 4 was a bit pants IMO, I'm looking forward to getting Tekken 5 though.

My copy of Tekken 3 got a fat scratch in it and stopped working not so long ago :(

I loved Tekken 4, the Force mode in it was class. There's nothing like tooling it to a bunch of goons with a dynamite heel ;)

The FMV's when you beat the game with each character were pretty cool, although they sucked in Tag Tournament.

I only have Tekken 2 for the PS1, it's ok, moves really slow though which sucks. Also, the extreme lack of game types and characters makes it seem pretty poor.

I got the first Tekken along with a PS so many years ago. Such fond memories. I have the 4th as well, and it's really great. My favorites are Hworang and Jin - I kick *** with those guys.

Tekken Tag was my favorite. I owned nearly everyone I played with a team of Jin and Jun.

I always thought Tekken was kinda overrated. Good game...but overrated.

I love the story and characters. I wish the games would tell more story or something. A movie wouldn't be able to capture all the characters though. :(

My favourate fighter of all time is Tekken 2 but Tekken 5 is close. I always used either Kazuya or Ganryu or Steve Fox in the new games.

TBH, the story wasn't as good as Mortal Kombat's.
