Sunday
Atlanta - J.P Losman just didn't look good last week at all. I think they should of kept Bledsoe
Carolina - They Beat New England and I think they have some Momentum building up.
Cincinatti - Carson Palmer has one of the highest if not the highest QB rating in the NFL and the Defense kept last years Touchdown Machine in Daunte Culpepper to a lousy 8 points. I say it will be a close game because it's on the road.. but the Bengals get the W
Indianapolis - Payton Manning Have two Bad games? I think Not
Jacksonville - The Jets Fumble to Much. Enough Said
New Orleans - When the Vikings figure out Training Camp is over I might Pick them again.
Philadelphia - Will the Raiders Remember they have Randy Moss? Who Knows. McNabb to T.O... thats all I have to say really.
Tampa Bay - Cadilacs are nice cars, and their cadilac is a good runner..Farve has no weapons left...
Tennessee - Tennesee riding high after beating the Ravens Manage 2-1 in the next few weeks McNair will get injured and Retire.. Relish the wins while they come Titans Fans..
Seattle - I don't know why, But I pick seattle in this one
Dallas - Dallas Got Embarassed by washington. and The 9'ers get stomped for the second week in a row
Pittsburgh - Rothlsberger's revenge. Carolina got theirs now it's the Steelers.
San Diego - San Diego needs this win, therefore they are going to get it. they will come out like a house on fire
Monday
Kansas City- Jake Plummer's still playing for you Denver.. Sorry
Byes
Baltimore, Detroit, Houston, Washington
Baltimore might be in trouble guys. if they lose a couple more games they're out of it. the way the AFC north is shaping up they need to snap out of it or their screwed.

Yes, the winner at the end of the season is based on ratio of wins to losses rather than total losses, so you're not at all disadvantaged by coming in at week 3.

Atlanta vs. Buffalo - Atlanta
I'm very tempted to pick Buffalo for their Defense, but I don't think Losman will be good enough to win this one.
Carolina vs. Miami - Carolina
The Panthers proved last week they don't need Jenkins to effectively stop the run. Should be close.
Cincinatti vs. Chicago - Cincinatti
With the way Cinci demolished Culpepper and the Vikings last week it is hard to imagine The Bears' below-average QB making much progress.
Cleveland vs. Indianapolis - Indianpolis
Indy are on their way to the playoffs and Cleveland won't slow 'em down at all.
Jacksonville vs. New York Jets - Jacksonville
If Jacksonville can hold Manning to less than 150 yards then they sure as hell can do it to Pennington. Will be a low scoring close match.
New Orleans vs. Minnesota - New Orleans
I really thought the Vikings were going to be one of the top NFC teams this year, but boy I've been wrong so far. I'm sure they'll get better, but not this week.
Oakland vs. Philadelphia - Philadelphia
For a 0-2 team Oakland have been pretty impressive so far, but even with a few niggling injuries Philly should have enough depth to beat the Raiders.
Tampa Bay vs. Green Bay - Tampa Bay
Green Bay had a big wake up call last week and so should be more of a challenge for Tampa Bay than they were against the Browns. However Griese and the Bucs' running game shouldn't have too much trouble with the Packers' defense.
Tennessee vs. St. Louis - St. Louis
St. Louis will have sorted out a few more of their offensie worries and should have the offensive fire power to win this shoot out.
Arizona vs. Seattle - Seattle
In the wild NFC West this could go either way.
Dallas vs. San Francisco - Dallas
I'm sure we'll be hearing fans calling out for Alex Smith after this game.
New England vs. Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh
My heart tells me Pittsburgh will be fired up and will crush the weakened Patriots, but my head tells me to stick with the Pats. I'm going to go with the Steelers because the Pats always start out slow.
New York Giants vs. San Diego - San Diego
New York have looked impressive while San Diego have looked like the Chargers of old. If San Diego lose this one then their playoff hopes are hanging by a wire.
Kansas City vs. Denver - Kansas City
The AFC West will be an interesting division this year.

You do relize Vick probally will not play
Sep 23 Michael Vick made it through an entire practice on Thursday, leading Falcons officials to upgrade the fifth-year quarterback to probable on the injury report. "If he puts on his shoulder pads and jersey, he's going to play, he'll be ready to roll," Falcons head coach Jim Mora told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Vick had been nursing a sore left hamstring.
Sounds like he is playing to me. :)

Cincinatti vs. Chicago - Cincinatti
With the way Cinci demolished Culpepper and the Vikings last week it is hard to imagine The Bears' below-average QB making much progress.
On the flip side, Cincy played two of the worst teams in the NFL in their first two weeks...let's see how they stack up against a real defense.
And I don't think demolishing Culpepper is that big an achievement. Without Moss he really isn't that much better than Kyle Orton.

On the flip side, Cincy played two of the worst teams in the NFL in their first two weeks...let's see how they stack up against a real defense.
While Chicago beat one of the worst teams in the second week and couldn't even beat Ramsey and the Redskins. Let's see how they stack up against a real team.
And I don't think demolishing Culpepper is that big an achievement. Without Moss he really isn't that much better than Kyle Orton.
You're saying without Moss, Culpepper is at the level of a rookie? :amaze:
The reason why Culpepper is playing so poorly is partly because of Moss, partly because of Cinci's play and partly because they have no running game. He'll get better once the team around him starts getting better.

You're underestimating Moss's overall impact on the team...he stretches defenses to let mediocre running backs like Bennett and Moore punch through for some yards, and because half the defense would always collapse on him in passing plays, it allowed mediocre wideouts like Burleson and Marcus Robinson to sneak open. Not to mention he would bail out Pepper on some of Pepper's worst throws and his downfield bombs.
Without Moss, Pepper is just lost.

I'm not underestimating Moss' impact at all, I realise he had a huge impact on their team and not just in the passing game. But I'm saying that Moss isn't the only thing that has impacted on Culpepper, they lost Matt Birk to a season-ending injury, lost their offensive coordinator Scott Lineham (?), the running game has been abysmal and a lot more. Sure you could say the running game has been playing poorly due to the loss of the Moss factor, but that isn't the only reason, there are a lot of factors that have impacted the running game and all that.
Culpepper isn't a bad QB, he has just lost some important people around him and worst of all lost his confidence. He can be a good QB without Moss, not as good but still good. And certainly better than Orton in his rookie season.

I never said Orton was better, I meant that Culpepper isn't a very good quarterback. It's not like he's on the level of Manning-Brady-McNabb like he has been in the past; he's now middle-of-the-road, if that.

Carolina vs. Miami - Carolina
The Panthers proved last week they don't need Jenkins to effectively stop the run. Should be close.
I think you're really underestimating Carolina just like everyone else. With a poor performance by Denver in week 1 Miami is going to be a poor team. I don't see at all how you think it's going to be close.
I think people are underestimating Chicago too. With a pickup of Moose and not having a touchdown scored on them all year, They could possible be the best team in the division.
I also think the Titans are underrated but that game should be close. Titans defense has impressed me this year.
because the Pats always start out slow
The Pats started 6-0 last year.

In all fairness, Miami does have a great coach.
So does Carolina, obviously, but I do think Nick Saban is going to keep Miami in a lot of games this year that they would have been blown out of last year.

Welcome to the Bears bandwagon, my son.
True they will only win seven games or so, but that should be enough for the division.

They do have a great coach, but with the great defense and explosive offense (when Jake doesn't suck) I think they will not neccaserily blow out Miami but have control of the game.
I don't know if I'm on the bndwagon, My dad has been a fan of theres for 20+ years, I don't know it's kinda hard to root against them, kinda like the situation with the O's being a Boston fan. I really like Azumah, Urlacher and of Course Moose being the Carolina fan I am.

Yeah, but Miami will keep it close, like they did with the Jets last week.

Well, it's the same deal here....my mom is a big Bears fan, my dad was a big Bears fan, and I spent the first 7+ years of my life in chicago so I have a connection there.

While Carolina looked poor in that loss to the Saints. But as Illmatic said Miami's coach (and their defense) should keep them in a lot of games this season.

Of course he isn't as good as those 3, but I still think he is at the caliber of Trent Green, Matt Hasselbeck, Jake Delhomme and those types of guys.
Illmatic

Carolina looked kinda iffy against the Saints and needed a world-class turd performance from the Patriots' coaching staff (they called way too many passes, and Davis's first touchdown run and Brady's fumble should have been challenged) to slip past the Pats.
Of course he isn't as good as those 3, but I still think he is at the caliber of Trent Green, Matt Hasselbeck, Jake Delhomme and those types of guys.
I still think he is below that level as well.
