I'm using a Mac and I've recorded a song and exported it to ITunes. Now I would like to convert it to an MP3 so I can put it on the internet but, I don't know how.
A little help? Thanks.

haha...you got screwed by Macintosh. I don't know why everybody wants an apple cause they are the ****tiest computers ever. Just cause Steve Jobbs made the "hip" suddenly everybody wants them.
sorry for that, the answer is. You have to find(steal) an audio converter cause apple wouldn't dare let you change any of your music to a form that you can use anywhere but their systems.

Grow up. So you don't like macs. Some people do. I can get a much more powerful, silent, transportable mac which will run 16 XLRs. For alot cheaper than your average basic audio pc.
Plus Apple have the advantage of Logic, which generally kicks cubase in the nuts, being that most people who have used both systems prefer logic.
Obviously though, Macs are so **** and the people who make great recordings on them are just imaginary.
See you in January huh?
When I'll have my mac based mobile recording studio ****er.

Itunes should actually be able to convert it into mp3 for you.
If not, then something like,

I actually figured it out and it was too simple for me to even make this thread. All I had to do was go to the advanced menu in ITunes and select the option "Convert selection to mp3". Oh well.

Really? How and where? Around here, Macs are basically more expensive than their PC counterpart (in terms of direct comparison of performance).
Also, iTunes will let you import as mp3 from a CD. You need to set your preferences to use the mp3 codec (I'm assuming the program is essentially identical in OS X as with WinXP, other than aesthetics).

Well in the UK to compare the mid range Mac Mini with it's price pc counterparts pretty much works out better.
The only major advantage the pc systems have over it is a faster processor.
I put together a custom compact pc at Phil Rees music, as close to Mac Mini specs as possible. And the total came to £801 for the pc, compared to the mid range mac minis £429.
So the pc's got a faster processor (2.8GHz compared to the macs 1.42GHz) but the extra £300-£400 seems a hefty price to pay for a faster processor on a system that comes with XP and nothing else. Wheras the Mac comes with ilife as well as it's OS. (I'm going to be upgrading from garageband though, to Logic Express 7)

1.4GHz is still a fair amount, but the number of interfces you want to run i certaintly wouldn't want any less.

I'll probably be only running 12 inputs at once. I can't imagine a situation where I'd need 16 microphones for a band.
12 gives me 7 for the kit. Two mic'ed up guitar amps. Bass DI'd. Then 2 more to throw around.

exactly, iTunes is also an mp3 converter. So he got screwed over did he? Idiot. I have logic express and it's a ****in dream trust me. although my system is only 512 ram and 800 mhz
