If any of you have seem that Exorcism of Emily Rose they talked about her using 2 sets of vocal cords or something like that. I assume they are talking about her head voice and her falsetto when talking/screaming from the possesion or whatever. Anyways I was wondering if there is any truth to being able to activate both your head voice and falsetto to add that double effect?

I haven't seen the movie, but im sure they are talking about using your true vocal folds which is what you sing and speak with, and your false folds which are above it and can be rattled to make a screamy type sound.

Right. Falsetto and head voice are made by the true folds. False cords are above them and help to clamp up the windpipe when you need extra internal air support...i.e. straining. Again...most people use them to make the "annnnk" sound for a wrong answer buzzer on a game show....for example.
