Hey, our band (I play bass) just recorded 4 new songs. The quality, I'll admit, is quite horrible since we were cramped in a small room playing around a single mic. It was like 8 at night after a day of practice and my fingers were almost out of it, that's why my timing isn't perfect. Oh yeah, and our drummer just quit. We have one original and the rest are covers. Tell me what you think so we can improve.

Man, I totaly feel you about being tired and cramped. We play in a 10' x 8' basement. What mic did you use? If you can afford one you have to get a BETA 58. You get the best recording in cramped rooms with that mike, and it wont fedback as much. Keep it up, and let me know.

VERY ENERGETIC ROCK! WE LOVE PLAYING LIVE AND HAVE OVER 50 SHOWS UNDER OUR BELT. THE RECORDINGS THAT ARE ON OUR SITE ARE OLD AND WERE DONE ON A FOUR TRACK IN A BASEMENT. WE SHOULD HAVE A QUALITY DEMO BY THE END OF THE MONTH. THERE IS NO MISTAKING THAT THE GUITAR SOLOS RIP.

We used a crapppy computer mic cuz the PA was giving us too many problems trying to plug into the comp since my friend's amp was on the fritz all day. Thanks for the suggestions. Anyone else think that recording we made sucks?
