Alright so we got a trumpet and trombone in our band. We need to mic them, and occasionally they sing too. Are there any good instrument/vocal mics(yes in one) that are around $20-$50 , or some cheap ones that are still good quality. Thanks

For $90 you can get a Shure SM57. But that's not what you asked for... Um you can probably find something if you ask the people at Sam Ash/Guitar Center.

Don't get behringer mics.. behringer make some very decent rack gear, some OK mixers, but they CANNOT make microphones. check out T-bone, samson, for cheap mics.

I'd assume so, Alice Cooper uses them. And I've been told the only major difference between them and 58's is a slight difference in performance in the mid range.

Sm57 (i think its by Shure) is good + cheap dynamic mic, and that's good for gigs and recording. i heard someone say around $95, but here theyre only around £35 (so i hear). behringer make cheap and pretty good recording stuff, but i dont know about mics.

You can get sm57's for 35 quid?
Where do you live?
I've got to pay about 80 or so.
