The intro gives a kind of gospel/bluesy feel, overall its a pretty decent song, but it would sound a lot better with some other instruments.

I accidentally wrote it about a month ago while tuning my guitar. I really need to get a band for the backing instruments, as it feels rather repetitive to me, and some drum fills and a wacky bassline would fix it.

i listened to it for about 40 second. it sounded alright, but after 10seconds it just got more and more annoying.

So basically, rather then listen to the whole thing and give an insightful review, you listened to half a minute, half of which is an intro and then turned it off.

i couldnt stand to listen to it any longer, maybe making it less irritating would make the song better.

You couldn't stand to listen to it, so I should make it less irritating?

Have you ever tried taking the vocals out of Stairway to Heaven? Then its just a repeating riff that slowly evolves! LOW AND BEHOLD! THATS WHAT MINE IS!

Anyways, explain how it's irritating then.

dont compare your "riff" to led zeppelins, thats like comparing apples to... balls of s***.

your "riff" sounds like a horrible ring tone that just wont shut up. i play drums, not the guitar, but it sounds like your playing the guitar too low so that you get a high, whiney-type sound.

Tone is somewhat harsh and it gets harsher as it gets more distorted. Try boosting the low end. Otherwise, the riff sounds good and I like how you used the tremolo effect.

HAHA! It does sound like a ring tone!

I was going to double track a second guitar in, but my mic crapped out and I'm fixing it as we speak. I think it would sound a bit better with drums and a bass. Which I am completely lacking of.

Defnitely should change distortion.

I listened to it all.
First off, to the guy who posted the first review, It doesn't have a blues feel, cause it doesn't have any of the blues changes or form.

Ok secondly, this song needs form. You need chord changes to keep the listeners attention. Music needs to move, via vocals, or your chord changes. The difference between your song and Stairway to heaven is the other instruments are doing things to keep the piece moving.

At least make a bridge
