So we're switching to T Mobile and they're offering a free N Gage QD. The only free alternatives are just normal phones.

Does anyone have one? How do you feel about it?

the games pretty much are nothing fancy.


If you're getting it for free, and the only only choice is another phone, then its a viable option.


the real question is, do you mind talking into an n-gage?

You never know, might be trading in their old phone on PAYG for a new one. Some places do that.

It's not like phone shops are selling these left, right and center. I bet quite a few are doing deals on these, along with the more cheaper phones.

I have a good experience with Nokia phones but I find the N-Gage absolutely impractical and hard to use when you're on the go.

Is that the original N Gage or the QD? The QD is supposed to be a lot more like a phone than the original was.

Yeah, I got the original when it came out. Pretty nice, but I would feel like I'm on Star Trek if I was ever to talk into it. It's pretty cool for on the run PS1 type games. It has a couple other features like Bluetooth. It's like the poor man's version of the PSP. (Very poor) ;)

Be wary of taking advice from people who think the QD is the same as the N-gage original. The QD is actually a lot better.
