Xbox - Team fighting games?

If you can think of one, name some games that are two-player and you basically just punch the **** out of all the bad guys...Maybe some crowbar and trashcan action thrown in there also.

If you don't know what I mean a perfect example would be "River City Ransom" for the NES. I loved that game. Or something like "Fighting Force" or "Double Dragon."
Alright...I'm ready to be enlightened.

I don't think those have been done since the 16-bit system. Fighting Force was tight though, and Punisher in the arcades, teenage mutant ninja turtles. It just doesn't need to be done anymore because people are now focused on how big can get instead of throwing trash cans at people in scroll action games.

Those games were my favorite in the arcade, except once you died you needed to put a quarter in to get another life or you left your friend on their own :upset:

I can't think of any that have been made since the Streets Of Rage series on the Megadrive/Genesis. Such an awesome game.

I always enjoyed Dynasty Warriors... that's the same basic principal but in China, no trashcans and crowbars, but horses and elephants. And a plot you can't summarise in diagrams.

And there was Jedi Power Battles for the playstation, which wasn't bad. But the new consoles do the jedi thing a bit better now to be honest.
