Speech software

Hey

I know it's not really games related but i was wondering if you guys knew of any software that would allow me to talk to my computer to open applications.

main reason for this being it mean i'd be able to work and switch media player on, change track ETC, at the same time, but i don't know if any of this software even exists...

i'm not talking speech software for typing either, i already have that built into windows.

i know it exists....as to who makes it? i dont know....i can try to find out...i know that a few of the blind and visually impared people at my work use some form of speakback/voice control software
