Word up MX,

How could you get Beatles type harmonies without having two singers that naturally harmonize and have a certain melody to them, like in the verses and chorus of Nowhere Man.

Also, in I am The Walrus, John's vocals have a certain phase-esque effect to them. How would I go do that? Run the vocals through a pedal or can you do it using the computer?

I use Audactiy if that helps.

Use a harmonizer, or in some instances, I have heard of producers using suto-tune to "create" a harmony.

Good job at going for that sound. Nowhere Man is one of my favorite songs, and I LOVE 3 part harmonies.

If you are recording, just overdub with one singer two more times to create those two other vocal lines.

If you are doing live, there's harmonizers or pitch shifters that you could use.

I don't think those harmonizers will sound good with vocals? It's not something I've heard attempted though
