You'll all hate this if you aren't into noise bands, but I think it's pretty sweet.
My brother is recording stuff, and these are two songs he made:
Whale Silo (www.hu.mtu.edu/~tjdebela/whalesilo.mp3)
New Voter Registration (www.hu.mtu.edu/~tjdebela/new.mp3)

I tried to listen to the first one but my computer keeps crapping out after a little into it. From what I heard I must say Innovative I never heard of a noise band before I'm very interested in how the style sounds now hahahaha

Yeah, it's an interesting style of music. A lot of the recorded stuff can just be long and boring, but when you go and see a noise band live, the energy is just overwhelming.
Imagine seeing the songs I posted played live: In the first one, my brother took sounds from a song (Silo or something, I believe), and put it together with whale sounds, dropping the pitches an octave or so, and just messing with all sorts of stuff.
In the second song, I believe one of the main sounds was made by shoving wads of paper into a fan.
It's pretty crazy stuff.

thats cool. I like that kind of stuff, when its incorporated into a song. Otherwise I don't see the point in listening to it. Also, when you mix it turn down the volume, it'll save the listeners ears.
Darn, two minutes of my life I`ll never get back. I don`t get it, Am I the only one? Just my opinion but I never heard of this genre and... oh here, I`ll make my final comment in noise band lingo:

No, that's a normal reaction. I don't know, it's an interesting genre, but if you don't like it, well, you just don't. It's hard to describe.
Edit: I think I got into this stuff like so: I listened to punk music at first, moved to hardcore, then i started listening to The Locust, which I've heard defined as "noisecore" and "grindcore". Next came Lightning Bolt, which I've seen defined as both "noise rock" and just plain "noise".
So you might want to listen to The Locust and Lightning bolt to really figure out where the appreciation for this type of music comes from.
interesting, you might wanna check out the thread on noise i made on this forum. Anyhow, i`m into this genre for about 2 years or so, and i`m gonna give some links if anyone is curious about my stuff.
live noise is indeed awesome, especially Masonna if anybody has ever seen him. It's really amazing, the feeling you get is that you're a small dot and you're watching him with all his triggers and devices, and you're like : "geez, what the hell is going on in there ?!?!?!?"
there are many things to say about this, i`ll come back later with a more coherent reply
btw, the locust is awesome.
