For those who don't know this game, Harvest Moon is a game where a player runs a farm. It sounds boring but is one of the most rewarding and addictive games of all time. Any fans out there?

yes, and this time, you have to get married, if you don't choose a wife you get one chosen for you. At least that fixes that aspect of the game.

I loved the SNES Harvest Moon but i get bored around the second year. Brush, Milk and feed the cows/chickens, water my crop, get my wife a gift and go to sleep. Everyday it was like that.

the thing is, that frog isnt in everyones game.

I forget how many different character they have in the game, but its possible for 2 different peoples games to have completely different characters.

i was amazed how fun it actually is.

the fishing is alright, until you fuk up catching a big/rare fish and have to walk around for a while to find it again.

The nice thing about the game, is you can put as much energy as you want into the game, and reap the rewards. I guarentee you'll start cheating after 2 days, if not shorter

you change the internal clock on the game/system so time progresses in chunks so you can get things done faster

The SNES version glued me, a friend and my cousins to the screen for so very long, I enjoyed the n64 version and then slowy got bored with the gameboy and PSX versions.
Still one of the best games I've ever played.

I own it on the 64. Definetly the best version. The gamecube one sucked, the days were too long, no festivals, too small of a town, etc.

Wonderful life is being released, but it's not confirmed for Europe, which is why i got a Cube.

And yes, Save The Homeland was crap.

Surprisingly addicting to play. But it was tortouring to watch someone play it. I haven't played that game in ages tho.
