Hey everyone,
My band is looking to start recording our songs for real. We have no idea where to start. I need to know everything. What kind of mixers/boards to use, what kind of mics and any personal suggestions yall might have. Money is not really an issue seeing that we will save up as long as we need to get good equipment. Any suggestions?

Just save up and pay for some time at a local recording studio it would be faster probably but then I've never done it so I don't really know for sure

i've gone the home studio way and spent an incredible amount of money and time getting it all going, if you want my oppinion, save up and record in a studio.

My opinion is that a home studio is for a recording enthiusiast such as me, not a band that wants to record their songs.
