The guitar tone is pretty horrible... did you just plug your amp into the computer?

The only reason the song sounds metal is because of the screaming, otherwise it sounded like Super Mario Bros to distorted guitar. Not bad for a first attempt, guitar could be played better.

If you're trying to sound like In Flames then you need to keep practising. Good luck.

also, your drummer has a very annoying crash cymbal, tell him to muffle it, get a new one, or stop using it as much.

ok, thanks aliver and rayne.....for the comment...yeah, we new into recording...so we dont know very well...no...i plug my zoom pedal--->>mixer (pre amp)---->> comp....and i use lattop computer.....so our song sound like mario bro huh....lol....we will make this sound turn into more metal....

about the drum....many people complain about it....yeah for me too the cymbal is annoying....hahaha....anyway, our song can go into melodic metal genre????? or what genre????

Overall it's a pretty good track, I like it. The "cymbal" needs to be much lower in the mix, but the mix is nicely balanced otherwise.
Oh, and you could do with working on the guitar tone and/ or mixing. It's not terrible, but it does sound like a line-in recording. Maybe you can add some cabinet/ amp simulation??

This is pretty impressive, the first thing that springs to mind is nintendo music, as already mentioned, but once the vocals come in, it gets good. The screaming reminds me a bit of danni filth. My only thought is that the bad quality might be giving the vocals their tone, so they would need to be recorded properly to get a full picture, but if you sound like that live, you should have no problem. The drums are as mentioned, and mabye try adding some double bass. I can't make out a single lyric, but my stuff's like that too, so I can't really complain. Nice little solo thing and outro aswell

i like the vocals quite alot. i think you need a rythm guiatrest. it would make the intro riff sound alot better. i think the bass is very much below average, does not remind me of metal at all. more of GAY EMO! lol. as for the genre, the vocals are more black metal, but the music just sounds very emo to me.

You need a new drummer, it sounds like he only has 2 cymbals, and only knows how to play one beat. This song is pretty boring/standard, but whenever the strings come in, I like that part. I like the bassist and the vocalist too. Not much can be said for the guitar playing, its just there.

Are you deaf? "the tone was okay.." that tone was awful. you need to get it recorded with a mic infront of an amp not DI it via a zoom pedal. The vocals were impressive, it did sound like dani filth alot! The guitar etc doesnt fit metal, its just not there. Sounds like the drummer is drumming a libertines song and the guitar needs more riffing.

1) The drummers crash cymbal was quite annoying actually
2) Maybe a bit too "simple" sort of song for my liking, it was ok just IMO the bits with the vocals in actually sound better than the parts without vocals, so work on your melody :cool:
