My Gamecube can't read any of the game disks. What should I do? How much will it cost? etc.

Tried cleaning the lens?
I don't know about GameCube but you can buy Cds with tiny brushes on them that clean the lens but I've never seen one for the smaller GC discs.

If that doens't work take it to the shop see if they can fix it.

Mine would do that with Hitman 2 and Harvest Moon at points. I would just open it, then close it and it would start working again.

It does that sometimes for me when I'm playing NHL 2005, I just have to push hard onto the little round thingy in the middle that you put the game disk through... if you know what I'm talking about. It usually works for me.

Meh, my Gamecubes never broken after 3 years, and I've dropped it loads of times.

I would try cleaning the lense.

I got mine shortly after launch and have had no problems with it whatsoever. Resilient little console really.

Gotta love how insecure some people are about their consoles that they feel the need to try and persuade others to get it, so they can feel they made the right choice.

We don't really need any consle fanboyism in here. It's a serious question that needs a serious answer.

I'm sorry. I will have to plug my jokeometer back into the USB port.

Sorry, there's a lot of console fanboys in this forum, and you didn't provide enough sarcasm or anything for me to realize you weren't one.
