I dont have a synth but am completely in love with songs that have em..
Quite a few STYX (my fav. band) songs have em. Some include:

Man of Miracles
Blue Collar Man
Too Much time on My Hands

and countless others... What are some other synth-songs you guys like? Almost everything from the classic rock genre has em. Rock On!!! :)

Check out Nightwish. The arrangements in "Bless the Child," especially towards the end, are brilliant. The more piano-orientated "Gesthamine" is another great one...just about anything the band has done rocks, though. Of course, if you're going to get into real piano stuff, look no further than the woman in my avatar: Tori Amos. Brilliant musician, amazing keyboardist. She was actually a child prodigy and was supposed to become a concert pianist before deciding that she'd rather write her own music, and thank the stars for that. :)

Lucky Man by Emerson Lake Palmer.

Or any ELP song for that matter. I just love the synth work at the end of Lucky Man quite a bit. I just wished Tarkus had a bit more, too much organ :(

There's a great deal of good synth work in Frank Zappa's music, although it's not like some of the bands mentioned here.

Recommended recordings with great keys:
Joe's Garage
One Size Fits All
Zappa in New York (live)
Guitar - it's a collection of live FZ solos, but there's some good background stuff
Sheik Yerbouti
Jazz From Hell - all but one tune done on Synclavier

Also, if you're into the prog thing, Derek Sherinian's solo recordings, and Planet X, have some cool stuff in them.
