Good man ^^

Exactly on Pints of guinness, its boring acoustic.

It needs the speed and the AND JUST LIKE JAMES I'LL BE DRINKING IRISH TONIGHT! bit where it all stops and goes into the chorus etc.

Bad Blood

I like the acoustic, but the whole feeling of the song is in the RAR version.

The acoustic EP is fuc'king awesome as a whole though.

So, I'm sitting here listening to 'Tom Gable Live at C.O.R.E.', and it is ****ING AMAZING!!! 'Untitled 2' is one of the most amazing songs ever heard and the version of 'Those Anarcho Punks Are Mysterious...' blows me away. Truly an amazing set by Tom.

Is is absolutely amazing. My favorite AM! bootleg and probably my favorite 'album'. Untitled 2 is my favorite AM! song ever as well. The lyrics are so good.

My slsk is Skrunnch and I have a bunch of bootlegs/vids everything if anyone wants it. Message me first.

eDIT: 'We did it all for Don' is absolutely haunting on this too. Gives me the chills everytime I hear it.

Has anyone else heard the version of 'Rice and Bread' from 'Live April, 18th in Common Grounds, Gainesville'? It's played really slow and has a lot of different lyrics. It still starts out with "How can you not find everything you need in all of this?", and he says "In these desperate times, we are desperate people" later in the song. Anyways, it's amazing and one of my favorite AM! songs, although the quality could be better. So, I'm wondering if anyone else has this version...

They've remastered both Vivida Vis and the self titled EP and both still sound the same and both aren't that good :(

Sorry to bring up an old subject, but these 'remastered' songs, do they happen to have "Revised" anywhere in the title? Like 'IAmCitizen(Revised).mp3'. Let me know, thanks.

Yea, it's one of my favourites off SFAFC.

I don't know which versions of it I prefer more. The SFAFC one or the ones off the Stolen Demo.

I like the SFAFC one because of the nice lead guitar parts.

But I also like the Stolen Demo one because it's simple.

Eh, it doesn't even matter.

By the way, doesn't anyone know the chords to Untitled 2? I'm too musically retarded to work it out myself.

Vivida Vis is a full length they put out on 12" vinyl for friends. It's actually not that bad of a recording at all, the bass is kind of hard to hear, but other than that it's fine. I think most people are mistaking it for the S/T 12" EP. 'This is Control' and '**** Stroll' are two of AM!'s best songs ever, and are both on Vivida Vis.

The electric version is growing on me a it, but it sounds so different.
Like when it changes in the orginial when it goes "and if, if roofs turn to sky, held by the gravity of nothing, An ironic and literal making of a bed"

the chords change and it sounds like the bridge, but in the electric version, the chords basically sound like it sounds the same.

Against Me! - Live In London. It has a sampler of Pints of Guinness, plus the album art looks amazing.

I wish they did it at the show i went to, it's gonna be from the Mean Fiddler show. Joe might have went there, i can't remember.

nah he went clean after either Axl Rose or Cowboy, the whole band toned it down a bit cos they wanted to take the band as a serious career. Hate to name drop but when i saw them in London a couple of months back (the one thats being released as a live abum in August) i met Warren in some random bar round the corner from the venue, and asked him about it, he was saying that they wnted to take the band seriously and theyd been back from Australia for about a day. Even better i met Tom Gabel up at the venue bar before the show, didnt ask him about the coke though hahaha thought itd be rude. Theyre both such genuinely nice blokes though, really cool guys, and meeting them makes me love the band even more than i already do just because theyre nice people and not rock-star wankers. Plus they were great live. No Walking is Still Honest though. Ah well.

The ones are RAR are essentially my top 6.

Angry Balled Fists!

ATEC:
T.S.R
Sink Florida Sink
Unsubstantiated Rumours
Angry Balled Fists ()
Then, Slurring the Rhythms, Rice and Bread and You Look Like I Need A Drink are all on par with me.

RAR:
Pints of Guinness...
Reinventing Axl Rose
I Still love You Julie
Jordans First Choice
Those Anarcho Punx...
Walking Is Still honest

Overall, i prefer listening to ATEC because of the quality, it's faster and sharper etc.

But RAR has the big guns like the underlined songs.

RAR is way better than ATEC.

ATEC is the first Against Me! I heard and it's an amazing album. It will always hold a dear place in my heart. RAR changed my entire outlook on punk and the state of things. RAR influences my musical career more than any other album out there. It's straight up one of the best things ever written by anyone on the planet.

ATEC is an amazing album, but RAR is still better.
