i know i prob wont have much luck but what the hell. My neo classical band is looking for a keyboardist in the 15-18 age group in the virginia beach area. Everyone one in the band is pretty talented. I write all the song and i posted a midi file of one of our songs to give the idea of what we sound like. We are all serious musicians, and plan to be in this band for a long time. Our main influenses are Children of bodom sinergy and megadeth. Even if your not intrested in joining the band let me know what you think of the song. (the midi file sounds better in windows media player rather than quicktime) :thumb:

That's not bad at all Peyton :thumb:
I can definitely hear the bodom influences, although something about it reminds me of Symphony X...other than the fact that they're neoclassical. Good luck finding a keyboardist!

That's freakin' awesome!!! You guys are awesome!! I'm a keyboardist... I'd join you if I wasn't already in a band... and like 10,000 miles away.

Wow I like it.
Do you use any peticular scales to get a neo-classical feel?
Or is it the way you use the notes out of ordinary scales?

Well I use a few scales that I don’t see commonly used but its mainly just different variations of arpeggios with tapping

Dang = wow.
So nah, it's not a bad thing, unless you don't like Bodom, :lol:.
I love Bodom though, so keep it up.
