I've wanted to get a piano, or an electronic keyboard to begin the instrument. Im probably willing to spend 500. I dont want some crap that is limited for begginers only though. Having said that, I found this:

What do you guys think?

Oh and how does one tune a piano?

That is a very good deal if it isn't in too bad condition. Don't expect a magnificent finish.

You have to get a piano tuner in to do it for you. It costs around £60 to have it done each time.

$80 Canadian or so to tune (60 pounds seems like a bit of a ripoff to me...). You need someone to tune it for you... I know of no way to do it yourself (but it isn't really that much and it lasts a good while... my piano hasn't been tuned in 5 years or so and it still sounds decent until you go into the top/bottom 2 octaves [I'm getting it tuned soon]).

And, yes, as long as it's in good condition, that would be a decent piano. If you can get it at that price, too... be very, very happy.

Ontario isn't that far from me... if you don't buy it for 500$ I might buy it lol

Awesome, thanks guys!

The seller says its more of a begginer piano... what would this mean? Like I said, I dont want something that needs to be replaced a year later. She also says that the finish needs to be sanded... I dont really care if it looks chipped up, as long as it doesn't interfere with my tone or playing. And for my last question, does a tuner come to your house or do you need to see them?

Its 100km... I just hope my van can fit this thing

The tuner should come to your house. He has to mine the one time I've ever gotten my piano tuned.

As for beginner piano... I have NO CLUE what that would mean. It most likely means it isn't a grand piano... which you would use professionaly. Also, it might not be as high-quality wood as some pianos. My piano, for instance, is much smaller than a grand piano and has a slightly higher tone for the same notes than other pianos (it's not a big deal or anything, just a minor detail). Just looking at that piano, it looks similar to mine, except a slightly darker tone (and it's taller and thinner). As long as it has all the keys and everything inside works fine... I'd say go for it.
