So I'm going to by a keyboard because I want to pick up piano (or keyboard) playing again. I'm thinking of buying a Casio WK-3000, it costs about 5800 SEK (about 580£), but they had lowered the prize to 3900 (about 390£) because it was the last in the store... So I'll have to by it now or never.

The music I'm into (which involves keyboard playing) is DT, Symphony X, Deep Purple, Holdsworth, Meola, Shawn Lane, (Lots of other fusion and jazz) etc.
Now I wonder; would it fit those styles? Is this keyboard any good? Or are there better keyboards in same prize range?

Thanks.

Hey, I used that keyboard for the first two years of my playing. If you would like to hear one of the pieces I did with that keyboard, go to www.purevolume.com/queenaugust ... once you're there, download "Dance of The Turtle" . It's entirely on that keyboard. Leaves of Autumn is as well. I think it is an excellent starter keyboard and I even used it for advanced pieces such as those because at the time, I didnt have the money for the keyboards you'll hear on the other track.
