i dunno if this belongs here, but i know that favourite threads arent allowed in R&M, so i figured maybe i could get away with it here.
so anyway what are some of your favourite bass intros....i dunno to me, it just seems awesome when a song is started by a sweet bassline. especially if its the first track on an album for some reason. but anyway what are some of your favourites? mine:

My thoughts exactly. I think people are just thinking of songs they like, and then narrowing it down to which ones merely have a bass intro, instead of a good one.
For me they are usually one in the same, but "Alice in Chains- Would?" Are you kidding me? It's two different notes, three tops!

I think that intro sounds cool.
The bass isn't the first instrument to be played, but the first bass part in Bury me by the smashing pumpkins is awesome.
