My brother and I went to Gamestop to trade in 12 old PS1 and PS2 games. We got back around 14 dollars. Most of the games we traded in were worth less than 50 cents and the most valuable games was Timesplitters 2 for 7 dollars. :upset:

No ****, retard. You should have at least sold them online.. you might have gotten around $16.

Same thing happened with me last year. I ended up not trading anything in though.

What really makes you feel stupid though is when Gamestop pays you $5 and sells it for triple the price.

yeah, well don't trade in old games that everyone already has. It's not like Gamestop does all their pricing on the spot, they base the pricing on how many they have in stock, how old the game is, and how high the demand is.

EDIT: And all that is done by Corporate.

EDIT EDIT: And if you want cash, that's a 20% deduction. Don't tell me you traded it in, then went and bought another game.

Well...obviously...as soon as games get purchased brand new, they lose about 70% of their actual value If you decide to trade them in....duh! Not to mention, PS1 games won't bring in any money anyway....

MY friend traded 6 games in including MGS3 for the new Star Wars game. I was disgusted.

It's ok If you are bored of the games and NEVER play them....then it's worthwhile...
