They have 2 versions, a $699.99 and $599.99 bundle. Ouch.

Well, it IS a bundle of many things that make it so expensive. The actual systems are $399.99 and $299.99 depending on version.

I don't know how much the PS3 will be. We'll have to wait until next year I guess.

One version with have wireless controller, 20gb hard drive, remote control and some other things (headset, cables etc). The other version is a stripped down setup which includes WIRED controller and none of the other goodies.


Either way, I will wait this one out and see what Sony and Nintendo has to offer..

Ok so I just did abit of reading about the games. Looks like Halo 3 is the follow up to Halo 2 but seems to have better graphics. There is this other game coming out called Quake 4 which seems to be Quake 3 with a few different weapons and maybe even better graphics.

But no it doesnt seem to only have shooters coming out, it has this other game called Rumble Roses XX, the follow-up to the playstation 2 game Rumble Roses. The game once again contains females fighting, but this time it has more costumes and better graphics!!!

It also appears to have a game from the racing genre, 'Need for Speed Most Wanted', let me quote some of gamespots words, "Most Wanted plays pretty much like your standard street racer, with a nitrous boost at your disposal for extra speed." GOOD LORD whats next!!! Oh no don't tell me, quote gamespot once again... "The 360 version of the game looks far superior to the Xbox and PS2 ones we saw a couple of weeks ago, with more pronounced lighting effects and higher detail in the cars and especially the environments." Who would have thought? Better graphics than the PS2 and Xbox versions.

Ok so I will admit it Zakath, after reading about some of these innovative new games coming out, the Xbox 360 has just left me in awe, the awe that comes from wondering why people will just buy the same old **** over and over.

Ok then heres some more..

Another racing game is coming out, Project Gotham Racing 3 (another original one). This game is reported to have not only better graphics, but things like when you change gears you will see the drivers arm move, plus it will have more detailed racing locations aswell as more realistic crowds.

Here's one that isn't a sequal, TimeShift. It's another FPS but there are few new moves thrown in and you can slow down time or something, has great visuals.

Another FPS sequal is in the works, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Looks to have great visuals and a few new moves thrown in such as the ability to slide in certain situations. Keep your eyes on this one, aswell as Call of Duty 2, the aptly named sequal to call of duty 1. So far we know it has better graphics, also the possibilty of a few new moves or guns.

For the MMORPG fans we got FFXI. PS2 and PC owners may be familiar with this game, it came out last year sometime I think. Let me quote some IGN, "Final Fantasy XI for the Xbox 360 will contain the exact same content as the PC and PS2 versions of the game. The big changes are, of course, 720p and widescreen support, a graphical upgrade and a further draw distance." Amazing, will they ever run out of new ideas for this console?

Another fighting game, Fight Night Round 3. Sequal to you know what, has better graphics. Another sequal, Elder Scrolls IV, has outstanding visuals.

I was naming the games that I could see on the main Xbox 360 page at IGN, it just so happens they had mostly sequals. I got no problem with sequals I'm a huge Metal Gear fan.

The PS3 is so much more powerful than the XB360, and the 360 is absolutely hinged on Halo. There are other games, but they aren't really put in the same light as Halo. Overrated, if you ask me. PS3's launch menu looks really great, and doesn't rely on one game to sell itself. 360 isn't even having Halo 3 as a launch title. Megalosoft's giving us an EXPANSION PACK! Whoop-de-****ing-doo. People get shat on and they think it's Christmas.

The 360 isn't going to cost that much idiots.

It only costs that much on Eb Games and Gamestop because they come with games and other included items. 4 games = $ 240, add that to the consoles price of 400$ and you have $640. Add to that more items, and that makes the price.
