if u suffer from writers block, what should u do?

What's in your avatar? :p I think if you have writers block you don't need to write, and you shouldn't.

ummmm yeeeaaaaahhh... do the opposite of that /\.
Write a lot! Write any idea that comes to your head. Take any idea/line/image/whatever and go with it.. Don't sit around trying to find flow or metaphor, don't force. Do freewrites. That's always my advice about this kind of thing. Sit down and write for about 10-15 minutes and don't stop to think or correct spelling mistakes or grammar. Just keep going. Like a stream of consciousness type of thing. It works for me.. That's all I've got

okay yeah I know alot are like...wtf?, but here's my tip. Give up for a while, and go out in the world. Seek experiences...I'm not telling you to go dive off a cliff with a string attached to your leg, then come back and write about bungee jumping...bbut really my lifetime experiences are what fuel my writing. Each time I've gotten cases of writers block, I just go out with friends, travel, meet people...do what it takes to get those creative juices flowing...

I know my tip is more extreme than others you may get, but really, just try it. Hell, if you dont wanna do that, read! Reading can help your mind tick back into thinking, and then you should be able to force thoughts to feelings/expressions, and plaster it on paper...just work at it, with time it will pass...
