What graphics plugin do you use? Both 1964's en Project64's default plugins show heavy flickering in certain parts of the game (especially Toad Town). The Glide64 plugin doesn't have this problem, but it's incredibly slow, and makes the game stutter: something you don't want with a battle system like this.

Or you could just buy the actual game, some games will always have certain problems when using Emulators....Mario Tennis with Project64 shows some heavy flickering but you can still play the game.....

I use that old emulator known as the Nintendo 64. It plays the game so much better ;)

I once emulated Paper Mario. That was because I didn't own it and all the stores in ton didn't have it and I had only rented it one time. But yeah, there can be major problems. Wait, this might should be in the Official ROM/Emulator Exchange (it still exists, you just have to go to links in **Rules and Links**)
