i think he is asking which particular emg's. since i know nothing except that zakk wylde uses the 81 and 85 combo i will suggest those for the pickup route. however i personally suggest buying that guitar, because a good geet for 200 doesnt come around all that often, then get the new pickups later.

I reccomend a Bareknuckle warpig. Sounds a lot better and is passive so now battery hassle.

I say get the Schecter. Its always handy to have a backup guitar, either to keep in alternate tunings or to use if you're Epi gets effed up. Plus, you won't always have the option of getting such a good deal on a guitar, but you could always buy the EMGs later.

It really comes down to are you unhappy with your tone and want new pickups, or would you rather have a nice new guitar? Its up to you really there isn't much more we can say.

I hate epiphone, so I would get the shecter.

Well are you happy with the epiphone or do you like the schecter better?

Bare Knuckles cost $200 USD per pup and the battery hassle in EMGs isn't that bad...battery live is 1000 hours and you just have to remember to unplug your guitar when you are done

if you want a nice bluey, crunch clean then get the 81/60 combo
if you want a bassy distortion and ok cleans get the 81/85 combo

I would agree with getting the other guitar though
