dumbfounded and weary,
in the umbra of your selfishness,
grasped in a revolution,
dragged down by your resolution,

I just didn’t hope to,

confused and dreary,
waiting to be re-aligned,
conforming to the lake,
mellow and cold,

simply amazed,
dumbfounded and weary,
