You won't get good sounds, ever, with a Digitech RP.

With a BP or GNX, maybe, and RP, nooooo.

jono........... you need to study up a little before you ask how many watts a v amp has. and haven't you made like 10 threads about amps?? you need to go to a shop try amps and buy the one you like.

I'll sell you my Classic 30 if you want.

Pretty much new Peavey classic 30
- Clean, has no scratches or dents.

I upgraded it with a Celestion vintage 30 Speaker and put new JJ tubes in it.
Those together cost about 160$ and the amp sounds great with em now. It's just i need the money desperately.

I got my ampeg head for $260, its 30 or 60 watt tube, with amazing overdrive and distortion. I bought a laney 212 w/ celestion classic lead 80's for $150. Shop around.

Probably around 500$

New tubes and speakers cost alot. But they definitely pay off.

I am not sure if the tubes are an error or not, both models are listed as having FOUR EL84 tubes. There are differences between the 30 and 50, The Classic 50 has normal and bright inputs and a presence control which the 30 does not have.

I got this off the Peavey website

The classic 50 has the same tube set as the classic 30 but the classic 50 has a higher plate voltage and a little more power.

a v-amp does not have watts, it is like a rakcmount pod, but cheaper and not quite as good, but TOTALLY worth the money, great sound.
