The Perfect Stranger

The tune is kind of spacy, and the end is kind of Coldplay-like. Think of the song "Everything's Not Lost" by Coldplay and you sort of have what the end sounds like.

There's a nomad lost in a small town by the city
She's the perfect stranger to everyone she passes by
Sucking on a cigarette, she's the face that anyone could forget
She's the perfect stranger to everyone she passes by

I can see who she is by that look on her face
Everyday is a tragedy, she'd like to say it if she could
I offer a condoling smile, but she shows no reply
Everyday is a tragedy, she wants to say it, if only she could

No one can hear a word that's never said
Anonymous comes and anonymous goes
No one can feel a tear that's never shed
Anonymous sees, but anonymous will never know

A new nomad girl is lost in the city
She's the perfect stranger to everyone she passes by
Her eyes are lies with a hint of regret, but she's got a sweet face that no one could ever forget
Yeah she's the perfect stranger to everyone she passes by

No one can hear a word that's never said
Anonymous comes and anonymous goes
No one can feel a tear that's never shed
Anonymous sees, but anonymous will never know

Anonymous comes and anonymous goes
Anonymous comes yeah anonymous goes
Anonymous comes and anonymous goes
Anonymous sees, but she'll never know
Anonymous comes and anonymous goes
Anonymous comes and anonymous goes
Anonymous comes yeah anonymous goes
And she sees, but no she'll never ever know

yeah this sounds good man
"no one can hear a word never said" - thats real good, i like that a lot.
Personally i'm not real sure about not naming a song from the lyrics, obviously it doesnt have to be a phrase or word from the lyrics, but the title certainly has to be in context with the song. (i dont know 'iris' so i can't really make a comparison to your example)

Totally off topic, the pic in your avatar looks fairly cool, where's it from?

I don't really know where the picture in my avatar is from... I just typed in "Phoneix" into google, and found it.

Thank you all for the criticism. :)

Groovy stuff, man. Very good imagery. I can almost visualize the title character.

I really like the way your structured this man. The repetition, as annoying as it almost was, it came off good. A very poetic style you seem to have. The piece is filled with imagery that isn't so explicit, but still brings picture to mind. I like that. I wouldn't change a thing in this. But then again, I didn't listen to the recording. My computer is slow. But I'm judging lyrically. Nice work. :thumb:

9/10

My only problem was the repeating of that one line. Try rewriting those lines with something a little bit different with everyone. other than that it was a good song.

Good pop/rock song.

I wouldn't change a thing, and pretty much all the related *** kiss that accompanies my posts about songs I like. Very good.
