This is the movie that made me proud to be an Italian. Discuss the awesome, 2 hr 25 min piece of greatness that is Goodfellas.

That movie sucked and made me proud not be Italian. I should sue Martin Scorse for wasting 2hr 25min of my life. However I liked Taxi Driver.

It's a brilliant movie, agreed, but it's a bit odd that it's the mafia that makes you proud to be Italian. I mean.. the Renaissance or something surely

I think this film is awesome. I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago, I was amazed.

I love that bit where they walk into the club through the back exit, through the kitchen, and into the crowed room. Full continious shot.

And the completely Italian guy (Tommy) got offed.

I really like Goodfellas, though I feel it's a tad overrated.

It's almost as overrated as a Clockwork Orange

Goodfellas is great I wasnt a major fan of the lead character his fake laughing was probably the most annoying thing I sat through and I hate him at the end how he was a rat.

All-time favorite movie!!!! This is the best movie I have ever seen. It's great. Joe Pechi (or however you spell it) and Robert DeNiro is awesome. This movie wants me to be a gangstar back in that period of time.

My favorite of Scorsese. I love the feelof it, you know, the vibe. It's full of energy and there isn't a dull moment. The Billy Batt's scene is my favorite

The nightclub shot is just ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. There's some great music in it too.

Second best gangster film ever made.

Second best gangster film ever made.
Third best, that is if you're talking about The Godfather.

I like Part II over both of those.

I'm part Italian(the good part ;) ) and I wasn't offended. I'm smart enough to know this movie isn't representative of ALL Italians(or people of Italian descent).

Really, folks. Get a grip.

The movie rocked. :chug:

?..."What? Do I look like a clown to you? Am I here to amuse you?"

YEEESSSS!!!! Joe Pesci was so good in this! Didn't he win an oscar for it? Stonks on Home Alone.

I love it when movies do that. You should check out the movie 'Snake Eyes'. It's not really a great flick, but the first 15 minutes or so is one long continuous shot, following Nick Cage around a boxing stadium just before the big fight. Anyone else seen this shot?

It's impressive!

It's impressive!I've seen it. There are a couple of hidden cuts I think but it does look cool.

Maybe he was talking about Joe Pesci or Ray Liotta.

I don't think he'd be proud of a psychopath and a drug dealer.

You never know.

I'm guessing Scorsese. De Niro isn't even half-Italian, so it can't be him.

I hate kicking a dead horse, but am I the only one who thinks My Way being played in the credits is awesome?

It just seems to be a great end to a great soundtrack.
