Mine:

Robinson in goal; we don't really have anybody else to replace him at the moment.

G. Neville and A. Cole as full backs, these are our best by far.

Our centre backs is a bit of a tough one to decide, we've got a lot that can be deemed as world class. I think I'd definitely have Terry in there, and Campbell when fully fit. Rio Ferdinand is somewhat solid though, and Carragher did amazing for Liverpool last season. He never manages it for his country though? Ledley King and a fully fit Woodgate might have a shot as well. But I'd have Terry and a fully fit Campbell, with Ferdinand as my replacement.

We need a player to be our Makelele or Roy Keane. We need a player that can sit back and just hold the play instead of dashing forward to leave us open to a counter attack. That player is Carrick. He'd play just behind the two wingers, so it'd be a diamond midfield.

Wingers will be Beckham and Joe Cole. I know people say Beckham is past his best, but when he's on his day he wins games singlehandedly. Joe Cole deserves to be in the squad because his game is improving all the time.

Our attacking midfielder should be either Lampard or Gerrard. I think they should get 45 minutes each, or one should be bought on when the other is fading and tiring. It'll bring the game to a whole new level.

Our strikers are definitely Rooney and Owen, our best by far.

My subs would be:

Kirkland
Ferdinand
Carragher
W Bridge
Lampard/Gerrard
Hargreaves
Downing
Defoe
Crouch
A. Johnson

GK; P. Robinson

RB; G. Neville (C)
CB; J. Terry
CB; R. Ferdinand
LB; A. Cole

RM; SWP
DM; M. Carrick
CM; F. Lampard or S. Gerrad
LM; J. Downing

F; W. Rooney
F. M. Owen

So it would be a dimond. And i have gone on the thery that Gerard and lampard cant play together unless there is a holding player. So what i would do if i wanted to play both, i would either drop owen and play 451 or drop cole and neville and put camball in and play 352.

Beckham at Right back are you off your head. He's useless already, that would make him embarrasing.

3-5-2

Robinson

Cambell, terry, ferdinand

A cole and G Neville as wing backs

Gerrard Lampard Becham

Owen rooney

This way, we have all our best defenders, and no need for a holsdin midfielder
