This sounded like Lacuna Coil or something, I liked the middle section and some of the vocals, anywhere else the guitar just seemed a bit repetitive and did'nt really interest me

5/10

"Different enough" doesn't quite work here. It sounds like every other band I listen to on these forums. Add a freakin' orchestra. Metallica's only interesting album has an orchestra. And they suck live too.

Thanks for the comments keep them coming :)

As for Ksas's comments, we don't have quite enough money to add an orchestra, it was recorded in our singers house :P Why do you feel we sound like every other band?

Not bad at all for a home recording!! Quite atmospheric, somehow! Not really my thing and maybe that's why I found it a bit wearing after a while, but there are some promising aspects there. You all sound competent - try writing songs and implementing more dynamics.

Awful band name

Great playing though, really tight band

Your vocalist suits your music well, even though he sounds a bit soft it is fitting

Great stuff!!! :)

You look like wierdos though no offence

Jonny metal?!

Hehe, thanks for the comments and criticisms.

I totally agree we look like weirdos, but thats all part of our stage act, we infact use a VJ when playing who films us as we play and that image gets projected onto a screen at the back of the stage thus we have interesting dress/makeup. Its another arrow for the bow.

As for the names, what can i say? We don't take ourselves overly seriously simply because bands tend to become anal-retentive tards then!

Thanks a lot for listening to us though, its always appreciated when a new pair of ears hears us!

Its a basic 7 Guitar string, its not detuned at all.

As for the muddy sound, thats his tone, some people like it some don't, it helps bring out the harmonics more, i feel at times perhaps a more cutting less muddy tone might be good but thats the kind of tone every metal-ish guitar play uses. But the criticism is very much appreciated, it will be passed on!

Thanks man :) We hope to have a full EP recorded at the end of the year, and we're looking to doing a few more shows all over the UK, so if you live over here feel free to come along one time.

Is it in drop d? or standard?

From what i heard it sounded fairly low... and its not really that heavy... a more metallish tone would be like a metallica tone.. you have a slipknot tone or even muddier tone going...

Little less bass, less gain, more trebble! :)

liike.. slayer :)

or maybe it was a bad recording i dont knwo lol
